Dr. Ruth Estimar is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She comes from Bacolod City and graduated top of her class in both elementary and high school. She was eventually accepted to the Intarmed program of the University of the Philippines-College of Medicine (this is an accelerated 7-year straight medical program for the top 40 qualified students from all over the country). After her internship, she subsequently trained at the prestigious Philippine General Hospital- Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, which is the national university hospital. This residency program is generally regarded as one of the best in the country.
